Sourpeak does not collect, sell or share any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone.
Who we are
Sourpeak is made by Yaveez, an independent app studio. If you have a question about this policy, write to yaveez.dev@gmail.com.
Data we collect
None. Sourpeak has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. There is no Sourpeak server, so nothing you enter is sent to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your iPhone
To estimate your starter’s peak and plan your bakes, Sourpeak keeps the following in its own storage on your iPhone:
- your starters: their names, flour and where they live (counter or fridge),
- your feedings: amounts, ratio, flour, kitchen temperature, times, notes and your answers about the peak,
- your bake plans, your dough recipe and your settings, such as sleep hours and reminder times,
- photos you choose to add to a feeding. Sourpeak only receives the photos you pick; it does not browse your photo library.
The Lock Screen countdown and the widgets read the same data on your iPhone. If you delete Sourpeak, this data is deleted with it. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, your Sourpeak data is part of that backup like any other app’s data; Apple handles the backup, not us.
Notifications
Feeding reminders, peak alerts and bake day steps are scheduled on your iPhone. No server sends them and nothing about them leaves your device.
Purchases
Sourpeak Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and does not share your payment details with us. Apple’s own privacy policy applies to your Apple Account.
Crash reports
If you choose in iOS settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. We only use them to find and fix problems. You can turn this off at any time in Settings, under Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements.
Emails you send us
If you write to us, for example with Write to us in the app, we use your email only to answer you. The message the app prepares includes the app version and the iOS version, so we can help; you can see and edit it before sending.
Third parties
Sourpeak contains no third‑party analytics, advertising or tracking code. Its fonts are built into the app, and this website loads its font from this site only.
Children
Sourpeak is suitable for all ages. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
